I've been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. Granted, since the emergence of comupters in the last 25 years, I don't put pencil to paper as often as I'd like, but nearly all of my skills as an artist stem from my love of drawing.

 

When I was young and naive, I thought I might spend my entire career as an illustrator. As I grew up, I realized what a narrow field it can be. A family needs to be fed and clothed, and figured out that diversifying my skills made me a better provider.
